Engineering

                        Sam Z. Scandaliato is the Owner and President of S.Z.S. Consultants, Inc. Sam is a graduate of Tulane University in 1958 at the age of 19 and has been practicing Civil and Structural Engineering for the past 57 years.  He began his own consulting firm in 1976 and continues to operate successfully today.

Sam is a recipient of many awards: professional, civic and personal.   One of his major awards was given to him in 1999 as the Engineer of the Year for the Greater New Orleans Area.  He is also the holder of several patents, namely Pile Connectors for round wooden piles and Levee Protection Systems developed after Hurricane  Katrina.  He is considered as an expert in Structural Steel and Foundation Design,  all of which is utilized currently in his consulting practice.

S.Z.S. Consultants is a registered professional engineering company in the states of Louisiana and Mississippi.
